No, you do need a credit or debit card to make a reservation when choosing the Pay At The Counter option.
What is the difference between Pay At The Counter and Prepay and Save?
Pay on Destination means that your customer will pay for the entire rental. Standard Rental Policies will apply - in most locations a CREDIT CARD will be required.
Prepaid means that you will collect for the Prepaid Portion of the rental. Tour Rental Policies will apply - see terms and conditions for further details.

Which are the standard rental payment policies for Prepaid Reservations??
Cash is accepted at certain Corporate Airport locations in the United States and Canada. Renter must make a cash deposit directly to Alamo in the amount of $25/day or $100/week in addition to the estimated charges not covered by the Voucher/E-Vouchered. In some circumstances Cash deposits may be returned to the Renter's home address in the form of a USD/CAD cheque.
Customers with a prepaid Voucher/E-Voucher from the Caribbean, may leave a $50 deposit with Alamo at the following locations in Florida: Miami International Airport, Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Orlando International Airport, Tampa International Airport, and Palm Beach International Airport.
IMPORTANT: Luxury Cars, Full size vans (15 Pax Vans) and Convertibles can ONLY be rented with a credit card.
In lieu of a Debit Card/Cash deposit, the Renter may present a valid credit card at the start of the Rental and have the option to pay cash upon returning the vehicle for any additional or mandatory items.

You do not need a credit or any other from of payment when using Pay At The Counter. All you need is your name, phone number and email.
Can I Prepay for my rental with a debit card?
Yes, you can use either a debit card or credit. Even international cards are accepted.
What does it mean by No Risk Instant Online Confirmation?
Simple, go ahead and reserve your car and you will get an instant confirmation. If for any reason you need to cancel your reservation we will not charge you any fees.
